I trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School 1969-1971; I have a distinctive RP voice (which I can ‘lose’ for character work) for commercials/documentary/narration and drama. I have been a professional actor for nearly 50 years. I played the BBC Radio Announcer, Douglas Smith, in 3 stage versions of "Round The Horne” and co-starred as ‘Bates’ the Butler in “Top Hat” at the Aldwych Theatre. I have been in numerous BBC Radio Dramas beginning with the 1970’s 'Waggoner’s Walk’. I can bring sincerity, sympathy, delicacy and understanding to any charitable appeals and I have the experience and skill to bring out the comedy or the pathos in all scripts.
