Allan is Scottish born and bred.
A hugely talented comedian, singer, impersonator, cabaret and voice over artist, there is pretty much nothing Allan cannot do (as a performer)!
His first big break came on the iconic TV show ‘Sunday Night at the London Palladium'. Over night Allan became a sensation in his native Scotland. His own TV series followed soon after.
Allan’s theatre credits include the lead in the musical ‘Jolson' in London’s West End and touring to Toronto. Further theatre credits include the award winning ‘Stones in His Pockets’ and Mel Brooks ‘The Producers’.
In 1997 he was invited to play Panto Dame in Edinburgh at the Kings Theatre. His 'Aunty May' character was the basis for this, and thus began a twenty year association with the famous theatre. Check out the M&S Ad to hear Auntie May.
With the ability to voice regional accents from all across Scotland, Allan can dial up his accent or down to a slightly more neutral UK sound. Having created many characters over the years for his own TV Show, Allan is confident in producing new voices for animation and games too. Take a little listen to his Character reel.
You will be sure to have a laugh or two in the studio, whilst achieving amazing results.
Allan is based in London.
